Cynthia is the hardworking Chief Executive Officer at Progress House, dedicated to ensuring the organization's health and growth while staying true to its mission. Her passion for helping others and being a steward of opportunity in her community has been evident throughout her life.

 

Cynthia's involvement with the organization began in her youth, where she volunteered and fundraised tirelessly. Initially encouraged by her parents to become a lawyer, she quickly found her true calling in science, math, and business management. Cynthia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Spelman College with a BS in Math and has since amassed over 30 years of experience in business management, finance, and information technology. Her diverse set of skills has been critical in enabling her to support the organization in forward-thinking ways.

 

Outside of her work at Progress House, Cynthia follows in her parents' entrepreneurial footsteps by growing private enterprises that also strive to improve people's lives. She is an avid traveler, having visited places such as India and Europe, where she can connect with different cultures and experiences.

 

As a proud wife and mother, Cynthia is deeply inspired by her family's legacy and is committed to building a more equitable future.
